I grew up reading contemporary romances, falling in love with heroes with bulging muscles and heroines with long flowing hair. My first attempt at writing one fell short though. I've come a long way since then. I've learned how to craft a story and build a plot line. I write every day, because I think I should, just to keep in practice. Contemporary romance is my favorite genre. As well as ebooks, I freelance to a number of print and ezine magazines. My husband and I are empty nesters, our one daughter is a career minded lady, owning her own insurance brokerage. We're proud of her. My accomplishments seem trivial when compared to hers. When I'm not writing, my husband and I travel. We've been to all forty-eight lower states and Canada. He wants to go to Alaska but it's too cold for me.
